* 1 Clove garlic
* Salt to taste
* 1/2 Small hot pepper, optional
* 1/4 cup Lemon juice
* Few stems of fresh parsley and mint, coarsely chopped
* 1 Small dry onion, finely chopped
* 1 Small green pepper
* 4 Leaves Romanian lettuce (other kind may be used)
* 2 Green onions, coarsely chopped
* 1 Medium cucumber
* 1 Medium tomato
* 1/4 cup Olive oil
Mash garlic, salt and hot pepper-if used. Add lemon juice, mixing well. Cut all vegetables in chunks, add to garlic mixture. Add oil and toss thoroughly.
Variation: Any combination of vegetables may be used, depending upon what is available.
