* 1 & 1/2 cup Rice (soaked in hot water)
* 1/2 cup cut vermicelli (Sipa)
* 2 & 1/2 cup Water
* 1/4 cup Butter
* 1 tsp Salt
Brown vermicelli in butter. Add drained rice. Stir over medium heat for 1 minute. Stir in salt and water. Turn to high, bring to boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20-25 minutes.
*For color and a sweet tart taste add a 1/2 cup of raisins (or dried cranberries--found in the dried fruit section of grocery store.)
