Chocolate Drizzled Oatmeal Raisin Cookies


1 cup all purpose flour
1-1/2 cups oats
1 teaspoon ginger, ground
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup raisins
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sunflower oil
4 tablespoons milk
8 squares baking chocolate


1. Preheat oven to 400 F. In a large mixing bowl add four, oats, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, raisins, egg, oil and milk, mix well.

2. On a lightly greased baking pan drop cookies (about 2 tablespoons) onto baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on wire rack. In a microwave safe bowl add baking chocolate. Cook until melted, about 1-3 minutes. With a spoon drizzle chocolate atop cooled cookies.

Yields: 10 big cookies
