Polkadot Chowder
Ingredients:
- 4 med. potatoes, diced
- 2 cups boiling, salted water
- 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
- 1 lb. cream-style corn
- 1 tbs. butter
- 2 med. onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 jumbo hot dogs, sliced into circles
Directions: - Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water until tender.
- Add evaporated milk and corn. Blend well and cook 5 min. over low heat.
- Melt butter and saute onions until yellow and clear.
- Add sauteed onions, salt, pepper, and hot dogs to chowder.
- Cook until hot dogs are heated through.
Makes 6 servings
