484. The eighth rite of the Hajj is the Salaat or prayer of Tawaaf al-Ziyaarah. After completing Tawaaf al-Ziyaarah, it is obligatory to perform two-rakah prayer of the tawaaf by Maqaam Ibrahim alayhis-salam or behind it, as mentioned for the prayer of the Umrah tawaaf. The only exception is the niyyah, in which he should state; "I perform two rakah of prayer of Tawaaf al-Ziyaarah, seeking nearness to Allah Almighty".
