Sago & Fruit Cocktail Pudding


110g (¾ cup) sago
1 Litre milk
397g (1 tin) condensed milk
310g (1 tin) dessert cream
5ml (1 tsp) china grass powder
10ml (2 tsp) custard powder
410g (1 tin) fruit cocktail
250ml fresh cream (optional)


Place sago in bowl and cover with water.

Mix custard with water to dissolve.

In a separate cup, mix china grass powder with water to dissolve.

Pour milk in medium size pot and bring to boil on stove.

Add sago, custard and china grass mixture to boiled milk and stir until mixture thickens.

Remove from heat.

Stir I condensed milk, then dessert cream.

Pour mixture into bowl and stir+- half of the fruit cocktail.

Decorate pudding with whipped fresh cream and remaining fruit cocktail.
