Malva pudding recipe


½ cup castor sugar
2 tblsp butter
1 egg
2 tbslp apricot jam
1 ½ cups flour
Pinch of salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 cup milk
½ cup Ultra Mel Custard


• Cream castor sugar, butter and egg well.

• Add in the apricot jam and mix well.

• Then add in the flour, salt and milk.

• Mix the vinegar and bicarb together and add to above mixture and mix well.

• Pour into a greased oven proof dish and bake for 30 to 40 minutes on 180c.

• Melt the ingredients for the sauce and pour over the pudding as soon
as it comes out of the oven.
