Make a cutlery carrier
You’ll need:
- A dish towel
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- About 1 meter of ribbon
Step 1
Lay the towel pattern side down and fold in about 12 cm of one of the longer sides. With a sewing machine, stitch one end of the folded towel closed.
Step 2
Fold the ribbon in half; sandwich about 2.5 cm of the ribbon’s fold into the towel’s other, unsewn end; sew together to form one large pocket. Divide the pocket into evenly spaced, utensil-size sections (at least 5 cm wide) by sewing vertical lines along the pocket.
Step 3
The top of the towel will be a flap to cover silverware once you roll up the tote. Tie ribbon around the roll to close.
