Gulaab jumbo recipe
1 tin condensed milk
¼ cup milk
¼ tsp elachi powder
Self rising flour as needed
Ghee / oil for frying
2 Tbsp ghee
Mix eggs, condensed milk and milk, ghee and beat well.
Add elachi and just enough flour to form a short dough.
Shape into long finger shapes and fry in deep oil over medium heat until golden brown.
Remove and dip into syrup immediately.
3 Cups sugar
2 ½ cups water
1 tsp rose water
Boil sugar and water together until it pulls a short thread.
Remove from heat and allow to cool before adding rose essence.
