Caramel pecan loaf recipe

Ingredients:

2 and ¼ cups cake flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp bicarb
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon powder
½ tsp mixed spice
1 cup golden brown sugar
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup buttermilk
3 tblsp melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients and add in sugar.

Mix egg, buttermilk and butter and add to dry ingredients

Mix well, and then add pecans.

Pour into a greased loaf pan.

Bake at 180c for 30 -40 minutes

SAUCE

Melt caramel treat with milk and pour over… enjoy
