1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 cup margarine, melted
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 package caramels
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter. Spread half of this mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes. Melt caramels in remaining evaporated milk over very low heat or according to directions on package of caramels. Pour caramel mixture over cake. pour chocolate chips over caramel layer. Pour pecans over chocolate chips. Press remaining cake mix on top. Bake for 18 minutes longer.
