Roast Leg of Lamb

5-6 Leg of Lamb
1/8 t Cinnamon
1/8 t Allspices
4-5 Cloves of garlic, peeled
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Rub seasonings over meat. Make pockets by piercing meat and insert garlic.
Place leg of lamb on rack in shallow roasting pan. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer registers 160° F (medium).
Note: Garlic may be reduced according to individual taste. Gravy is made from drippings and served over rice.
