Is it safe to sleep with an electric blanket during pregnancy?

As long as you keep the temperature at the right level, an electric blanket is fine. The right temperature is one that's high enough to keep you warm but not high enough to burn you or to raise your body temperature, which could be dangerous for your developing baby.

Yes, unless you're really overheated. You don't want to raise your core body temperature above 103 degrees Fahrenheit, since that could cause physical abnormalities in your developing baby. As long as you're comfortable and not too hot, you're okay.

What's more, there's no evidence that being exposed to electromagnetic fields harms your baby in any way.
