Chicken Breast in Sour Cream

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken breasts, skinned
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • One 4-ounce can mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.Saute chicken in margarine. Arrange chicken in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch. Set aside. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in drippings in saute pan until tender. Remove from heat, let cool slightly. Combine vegetables, mushrooms, sour cream, salt and pepper. Spoon mixture over chicken . Cover and bake at 350F for 45- 55 minutes.

Serves 6.
