Chai, African Tea

Ingredients:

Servings: 8

4 cups water
2 -4 teaspoons black tea leaves
1 teaspoon cardamom
3 -4 cinnamon sticks
1/4-1/2 cup sugar
3 cups milk (2% or whole)

Directions:

1 Simmer water, black tea leaves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and sugar for 10 minutes.

2 Add the milk and heat just until hot.

3 Strain and serve.
