Black Forest Trifle
Ingredients (serves 4)
415g can Stoneless Black Cherries
1 cup (250ml) Thickened Cream - to be whipped
1/2 cup chocolate sauce
250g pkt chocolate rollettes (cut into 3-4 cm thick)
1 teaspoon hazelnut essence (optional)
1. Drain cherries, reserving 60ml (1/4 cup) of the syrup. Combine the whipped cream and chocolate sauce in a small bowl.
2. Divide half the rollette slices among serving glasses. Drizzle over half the syrup. Top with half the cherries. Pour over the cream mixture.
3. Continue layering with remaining rollette slices, syrup and cherries. Top with your choice of topping for decoration.
4. Refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving.
