Western Rice Skillet
1 lb. ground beef
1 envelope onion soup
1 1/2 C. water
3/4 C. uncooked rice
1 lb. stewed tomatoes
1 C. frozen peas
1 C. grated cheddar cheese
In a skillet, brown beef and drain off grease. Stir in soup mix. Add the rice and tomatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in peas and cook until rice is tender.
