Ingredients:
4 cups watermelon juice
2 cups lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
mint for garnish
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add sugar and stir until sugar dissolves.
Place syrup in an ice bath to cool down.
Juice watermelon with a juicer. Remove the foam that settles on top of the juice. It also helps to strain the juice. Place in a bottle and set aside.
Juice lemons with a citrus juicer.
Strain lemon juice. Mix syrup and lemon juice and stir until well mixed. Place in a bottle and set aside on its own.
When ready to pour drink, in a tall glass add ice. First pour the lemonade as it is the heavier of the two juices.
Place a regular spoon or a pouring spoon, like the one in the picture, over the edge of the glass. Pour watermelon juice over the spoon. This will create the two toned drink.
