Stir Fry Chinese Broccoli

Origin: China


* 1 Bunch Chinese broccoli (gai lan)
* 2 cups Chicken broth
* 1 & 1/2 tbsp Salad oil
* 1 Clove garlic, crushed
* 1/8 tsp Salt
* Pinch of sugar
* 1 tbsp Oyster sauce


Remove outer skin from the lower half of the broccoli stem. Cut broccoli into 3" pieces. Place broccoli into boiling chicken broth. Remove after 30 seconds, and drain.

Heat salad oil until smoking. Brown garlic clove in oil. Sprinkle salt into oil. Stir fry broccoli for 1 minute. Season with sugar and oyster sauce.
