(ShiiteNews) Kaneez Fatima alias Dilshad Fatima was shot martyred along with her husband on Abul Hassan Ispahani Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi. Both were employees of a private Hospital.

She was not the first Shia woman who fell victim to the terrorism of notorious takfiri nasbi terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba/Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. A woman teacher was martyred in Safoora area on University Road, some years ago. Another gory incident had occurred in Quetta where a woman lecturer was shot martyred some years ago.

Return Karachi in 2012. Mezhaal Zahra, a 13 year old girl student is struggling for life at a local hospital in Karachi since November 30. His father, a grade-18 government officer was shot martyred in front of her at Shaheed-e-Millat Road. He was going to drop her at the school where she is a grade-7th student. The ferocious terrorists didn’t spare her and shot her injured.

Saeed Haider Zaidi, an eminent Shia intellectual was murdered in front of his wife in Karimabad, district central of Karachi. A young Shia father was martyred while he was going to drop her daughter to school in the morning in Gulberg area.

Notorious terrorists of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban threw acid on the faces of Shia women while they were on their way from Peshawar to Parachinar.

No reaction to these murders, attempts to murder and violation of the sanctity of women has been seen so far. Callousness on part of the society has discouraged Shiites across Pakistan. Media remains silent against heinous crimes against Shia women. Double standard of the media, civil society and notables of society is shameful. Government of Pakistan and international community failed to take notice.

The world bear witness to the fact that acid throwing at secular-minded females always evoked an instant reaction from across the country. If Hindus, Christians and Qadianis/Ahmedis complain of injustices, we hear voice of unequivocal support.

Recently, whole of the world unanimously condemned the murderous attempt on Malala Yousufzai. The attackers were same takfiri terrorists of notorious Tehrik-e-Taliban.

Shia women also fell victims to the terrorism of these notorious terrorists of outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban and their offshoots such as banned Sipah-e-Sahaba/Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.  Why no voice of condemnation to the attack on Mehzal Zahra? Why criminal silence against acid-throwing Taliban who targeted Shia women. Why callousness towards brutal targeted murders of Shia women?

These are the questions that need to be answered by all the relevant quarters. Pakistani Shiites’ want fanatic takfiri terrorists who declare Muslims as non-Muslims and perpetrate their genocide should not go unpunished.
