This green chutney is one of a spicy and sour flavor chutney from South Asian cuisine and is served with various traditional fried stuff like pakoras, samosas, rolls, etc.

Ingredients:

1 bunch fresh coriander leaves
¼ cup chopped fresh mint leaves
5-6 green chilies (or to taste)
½ medium onion (coarsely chopped)
6-7 garlic cloves
1 tsp heaped cumin powder
Salt to taste
2 lemon juice
2 tbsp yogurt
¼ cup mustard oil

Procedure:

1. Put all the ingredients in blender except yogurt and oil and blend with very little amount of water just to make smooth paste.

2. Then take it out in a bowl and mix well with yogurt and mustard oil, spicy green chutney is ready. You can preserve it in bottle after mixing pinch of citric acid powder in the chutney.
