Brighten the Picture

To dust your TV and computer screens using a dry microfiber cloth, wipe first right and left, then move it up and down (not in a circular motion). To clean the outside, be sure to pay attention to all the cords. Depending on the surface, use furniture polish or a damp microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges. Also, look to see if there are old, unused, or broken games, videos, tapes, CDs, and DVDs. Toss them. Don't forget to dust the top.

To quick-clean gunk and grime from remotes, use an alcohol-based hand wipe or microfiber cloth lightly dampened only with water, but do not allow the water or alcohol to seep into the control.
