This aloo chaat recipe is one of a famous street food in Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It is also one of the main serving item for ramadan iftar food. Here in this recipe it is prepared with two flavors of potatoes boiled and crispy fried and gives awesome taste when served as mentioned below. It can also be served over fried potato bed instead of spreading it on top.

Ingredients:

3-4 large potatoes (boiled and cubed)
1 cup chickpea (boiled)
3-4 chopped green chilies
4 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
1 medium onion chopped
3-4 chopped tomatoes
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp red pepper powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp roasted ground brown cumin
1 tsp ginger (minced)
3-4 tbsp tamarind sauce
4 tbsp yogurt
3 large potatoes (peeled and grated)
Oil for deep frying

Procedure:

1. Take a Large mixing bowl and combine all these ingredients well and set aside.
2. Heat oil for deep frying in a pan and fry grated potatoes in it till become crisp brown.
3. In a serving bowl or platter, take out some prepared aloo chickpea chart, add some fried crisp potatoes, chopped tomatoes, onion, 1 tbsp yogurt, 1 tbsp tamarind sauce and 1 tbsp mint sauce.
