Shi'ite Women and Their Political Culture in Fatima's Era
The culture of a period is indicative of the cultrual and social life-style of the people living in that period. By knowing about the political culture of a time one can know about the political relations and movements current at that time. Fatima's era - when Fatima (peace be upon her) lived and died - is the origin of many decisive socio-political events in Shi'ite political life with which it is important to deal.
Political Culture is defined as constituting political vision, political attitude and political ethos. In other words, it includes a level of political thought and awareness, political feeling and ethos and political actions. Manifesting the above constituent elements theoretically and practically, Hazrat Fatima (peace be upon her) was the founder of Shi'ite political culture.
